US COAST GUARD-APPROVED TYPE II PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE (PFD): This type 2 life jacket is designed to turn the wearer face-up in the water. The life vest inflates automatically upon water immersion via a replaceable CO2 cylinder (includes 1 cylinder with purchase) or manually with a pull of the “jerk to inflate” cord or back-up oral inflation tube. Designed for commercial fishermen in mind, this vest brings superior safety and performance to the recreational water enthusiast.

LIGHTWEIGHT, COOL, AND COMFORTABLE: The life vest's wide neck opening and ergonomic chassis shape hugs the body where needed to stay secure without riding up on your neck. The life preserver's soft breathable collar prevents chafing, reduces moisture around the neck, and dries quickly while 3D mesh through the shoulders, back, and waist conforms to the shape of the body and promotes air circulation.

SAFE AND SECURE: Bluestorm Gear's quick burst zipper technology keeps the life jacket secure during heavy fishing, boating, sailing, angling, or water activities, yet opens rapidly when inflated.

SIZING INFORMATION: Dual side adjusters ensure a universal and snug fit for most adults. Recommended for chest sizes between 30" and 56". The Arcus 40 will generally fit those who wear adult size small, medium, large, XL, or XXL.

2.5X HIGHER MINIMUM BUOYANCY: The Arcus 40 offers an outstanding 40 lbs of buoyancy, a 2.5x higher rating than Type 3 foam vest life jackets.
